TRUCK is a not-for-profit organization that receives generous support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, The Calgary Region Arts Foundation, as well as ongoing monetary and volunteer contributions from our members and the community at large.

In order to enhance the scope and profile of our exhibition program, TRUCK is looking to strengthen current relationships and establish new friendships with dynamic and creative individuals and organizations. While donations and contributions of any size and type are always greatly appreciated, the opportunities listed below reflect some of our greatest needs at this time. In an effort to streamline our charity support and membership renewal process, the Second Story Art Society operating as TRUCK Contemporary Art in Calgary has registered with CanadaHelps.org. Donations, contributions, and memberships may be made online by going to the following link:

A tax receipt will be issued for your donation and you play an essential role in supporting one of Calgary's vital artist-run centres.

DONATIONS IN KIND

As a registered charity, TRUCK will issue charitable tax receipts for all gifts over $10.00. If you are making a donation and would like contribute to a specific aspect of TRUCK's programming, operations or facility enhancement needs, please indicate at the time of donation. Currently we are accepting donations for the following projects:

* Facility Enhancement

* Resource Centre

* Technology Fund

* Programming and Operations Assistance

CONTRIBUTIONS WELCOME

Equipment Needed:

Having the right tools makes life at TRUCK so much better. We are happy to take donations of the actual items assuming they are in safe and reasonable repair.  Donations towards purchases are also welcome. Currently we are in need of the following items:

* Stepladder
* Palm sander
* Tool cart
* Utility cabinets (preferably locking)
* Hand tools

TRUCK enjoys charitable status designation and will issue tax receipts for donations over $10.  For information contact the gallery.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

Exhibition Sponsor  - $1,000 / exhibition


Funds generated through the sponsorship of individual exhibitions will assist TRUCK in meeting promotional and programming costs.  The Sponsor will receive recognition via press materials relating to the particular exhibition including invitations and the TRUCK website. TRUCK will also announce the contribution through an exhibition advertisement in a national arts magazine as well as a local weekly. Signage on site will indicate the sponsor’s contribution.  Exhibitions run approximately 5 weeks and are well attended.  Promotional materials are distributed nationally, as are press releases and media packages.

Season Sponsor - $5,000 / year

The support of the Season Sponsor will assist TRUCK in developing materials that promote the organization and the entire TRUCK 12 month season (consisting of approximately 20 exhibitions over three venues). This sponsor will be recognized as the “SEASON SPONSOR” on all materials including invitations, press releases and the TRUCK website.  The doors of TRUCK will also bear the Season Sponsor’s logo. Funds generated through this sponsorship will be used to advertise the organization through a series of local and national magazine advertisements and the development of a promotional item.
