In collaboration with Ghost River Theatre, TRUCK is thrilled to presentObject Runway, an immersive micro-performance that brings together high fashion, mechanical magic, and drag culture in an unforgettable theatrical experience. Created by multidisciplinary artist Robin Leveroos, Ghost River Theatre’s 2024-25 Artist-in-Residence, Object Runway runs February 14 - 15, 2025 at TRUCK Contemporary Art.
Come for the party, stay for the spectacle! Grab a drink, mingle, and immerse yourself in an unforgettable evening of playful and unexpected art by the multi-talented Robin Leveroos. At the heart of the night is Object Runway, a dazzling micro-performance where everyday objects shed their ordinary roles and embrace their fiercest identities through stunning drag makeovers. Witness alarm clocks strut the catwalk, transformed with flair, while drag queens serve up their sassiest critiques. Blending fashion, drag culture, and mechanical magic, this joyful, immersive experience invites the audience to celebrate individuality, self-expression, and the fabulous potential hidden in the everyday.

“Object Runway is a joyful celebration of creativity and connection,” says Robin Leveroos. “It’s an exciting opportunity to explore the quirks and beauty of everyday objects and invite audiences to celebrate these things stepping into their truest selves.”
“Our 2024-2025 season is designed to dissolve the line between audience and artist,” says Eric Rose, Artistic Director of Ghost River Theatre. “With Object Runway, Robin Leveroos invites us to embrace the extraordinary in the ordinary, blurring the boundaries of art and participation in the most delightful ways. We want our patrons to not just witness the art but to live it, breathe it, and shape it with us.”
Object Runway is a high-energy celebration of creativity that transforms TRUCK Contemporary Art into a vibrant fashion show. With electrifying sound design by Electrosexual, lighting by Aabir Mandel, and vocals from drag artists like Anali Goldberg and Tchivett, this performance challenges conventions by turning everyday objects into extraordinary storytellers. Whether for the art, fashion, or fun, Object Runway offers a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates creativity, queerness, and connection.
